Death and Legacy

Heather's Spaces

About this Session

We will all die. We don't know how, or when, but it is inevitable. Do you think about it much? What will you leave behind? How will your body be disposed? What happens to your soul? It may be scary to think about, or maybe you love thinking about it. Wherever you fall on that spectrum we invite you to come and ponder the unavoidable with us. We will discuss questions like:

  • When you die what do you hope to have accomplished?

We hope when you leave this Circle you leave with maybe more questions than answers, but we hope that the subject of death and legacy feels a little less intimidating.

"Carve your name on hearts, not tombstones. A legacy is etched into the minds of others and the stories they share about you."

Shannon Alder

About this Space

I've got issues!

And I bet you do too.

Hey we all have issues, some big, some small, but we don't have to face any of them alone. I have found not a single one of my traumas or problems in life felt nearly as heavy when I shared them with community. That's what this is all about here. Let's tread through this life thing together. Some of the topics discussed in these Spaces are:

  • Death and Legacy.

  • Grieving the Loss of a Pet.

  • Surviving Disease and Illness

These Spaces give us an opportunity to know and be known and there is value in all of our experiences. We meet digitally once a month. There is no commitment. This is a safe space to come as you can and as you are. Each month will have a different topic. Some will resonate with you, some won't. We welcome you whenever you see a Circle that you think may help you along in your journey.

We understand carving out time for ourselves can be a logistical challenge, so kiddos are welcome! We just ask that you keep yourself on mute when you are not speaking. We cannot wait to share community with you and learn from all your strengths and challenges. We are better together!

"In order to move on, you must understand why you felt what you did and why you no longer need to feel it."

Mitch Albom
